Hatha Flow

This is the original form of yoga, the foundation of all other styles. Razia teaches a mindful, alignment based class with asanas held for between 4-6 breaths. This enables the body to settle and the mind to focus on being, rather than doing. The class usually starts and ends with a breathing practice.

Hot Hatha/Bikram/Tapasya

A hatha class in a room heated to 35c. The heat increases the intensity of the practice and enables detoxification via sweating. The FAR infrared panels assist in the detoxification process as well as reducing inflammation.

Menopause Yoga

Using tools and techniques from the Yoga tradition (postures, breathwork, meditation and visualisations) as well as Traditional Chinese Wisdom and Ayurveda, a class is aimed at easing specific Menopausal symptoms. Starting with a Women’s Circle to share wisdom and foster connection.

Yin

Yin yoga is a slow paced, introspective practice in which floor based postures can be held from 2-5 minutes. Enabling stillness to arrive in the physical body, paying attention to what is here and now, encouraging stillness in the mind.

Restorative

A deeply relaxing practice in which floor based postures are held for 8-12 minutes. It is about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretches, with an emphasis on the use of props to support the body so that the central nervous system and fully relax.

Nidra

Yoga nidra, sanskrit for yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, typically induced by a guided meditation. It promotes deep rest and relaxation, is very healing and is accessible to all.
