Razia began practicing yoga on the advice of her doctor in 1998. She was in a particularly stressful time in her life and her doctor suggested she learn how to manage stress rather than medicate it away.

It worked.

She practiced a class weekly as stress relief and continued with the gym and running. In 2003 she discovered Hot Yoga. The intensity appealed to her and the practice grew until, in 2007, she gave up her gym membership.

After going on a yoga retreat in 2006 she decided that she would like to deepen her practice and share the benefits of this amazing tool by becoming a teacher. In 2009 she completed the Bikram Yoga Teacher training course and taught in California initially before returning to London. Since then she has also completed the following teacher trainings: Vinyasa, Yin, Triyoga Hot, Restorative, Children’s Yoga and more recently, Menopause Yoga..

She teaches group, corporate and private classes in London and on retreats. Razia loves observing how yoga transforms people, improves their mental and physical health and ultimately changes their lives.
